Very often companies take a fragmented approach to Human Resource Organizational Development, using one job evaluation methodology for reward decisions, another system for talent management, another for Performance Management and sometimes even another for structuring work, etc.
We knew there was a better way which we found to be an alternative vision for the future. So we’ve created iPERFORM – a unique offering that is fully computerized that builds upon our structured organizational development methodology to connect with Organizations’ Organizational Structure, Job Descriptions, Job Evaluation, Organizational Work-study, A – Z Guide of Skills & Competencies, Performance Management, Pay Structure, and Performance Based Pay as a fully integrated one-stop system.
Our systems have been tried and tested and is very different to other systems out in the market.
Development of the iPERFORM Job Evaluation System
We have learnt from valuable experience and extensive research that many problems are encountered with various other job Evaluation systems.
Therefore the iPERFORM Job Evaluation System was developed. We realized that Organizations needed:
- An Integrated Job Evaluation system that took into account standardized job descriptions that are accurately linked to the Organizational Structure.
- A modern job evaluation system that takes into account equity and fairness as required by the Employment Equity Act and recently amended.
- A job evaluation system that aligns itself to the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) framework. SAQA is internationally recognised
- A job evaluation system that is easy to understand, use clearly defined terminology, is easy to implement, one that is computerized and most importantly one that can give accurate and consistent evaluated outcomes that are defensible through accurate reports.
The iPERFORM Job Evaluation System can:
- Evaluate all jobs within an organization from CEO to General Worker; Technical, Administrative, Scientific type jobs, etc.
- Evaluate jobs across the different industries and job families and can do a comparative analysis by producing reports that are defensible if and when disputes arise.
- All job evaluations are automatically saved on the database once the questions are answered and scores are calculated electronically.
- Reports are printed from the system and can be done as a single job report, as a job family report, as a departmental report and in job ranking order i.e. from highest grade to lowest grade, and can be exported onto Microsoft Excel as a spreadsheet.
- We have designed a correlation table that correlates the iPERFORM Job Evaluation to the other Grading Systems.
